LOWELL – Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union held its eighth annual We Share A Common Thread Foundation Fundraiser on Saturday, February 24, 2018, raising over $60,000 to support the Foundation’s mission. The We Share a Common Thread Foundation was established in 2011 to help support the lives of people in our community by providing assistance with food, shelter, clothing, health and education.

More than 350 Jeanne D’Arc employees, business partners, members and supporters gathered at Lenzi’s in Dracut to attend the Fundraiser. Attendees of all ages took chances on basket raffles, bid on silent auction items, entered raffles for cash prizes, and danced the night away to help the Credit Union reach its fundraising goal for this year’s event.

“We are so thankful for the generosity we receive each year at our annual We Share A Common Thread Foundation Fundraiser,” said Mark S. Cochran, President and Chief Executive Officer of Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union. We are proud to see this event continue to grow, and allow us to help our local community members in need. Thank you to everyone who supported our Fundraiser this year,” he added.

Due to the great success of this year’s event, the Credit Union will be able to expand its donations to 95 non-profit organizations in the Merrimack Valley area, 15 more than last year. Please visit WeShareACommonThread.org for a full list of recipients.
