Indiana Members CU Donates $10,000 tp Pink Ribbon Connection for Cancer Awareness

(Indianapolis, IN) Indiana Members Credit Union (IMCU) recently presented a check for $10,000 to Pink Ribbon Connection as part of its exclusive Cancer Awareness Debit Card Program. The IMCU Cancer Awareness Debit Card provides an opportunity to support many different types of cancer by benefiting a different local cancer related organization each year. Pink Ribbon Connection, a local breast cancer organization, was the selected beneficiary receiving a portion of each signature based transaction made with this card March 1, 2017-February 28, 2018.
Ron Collier, President and CEO of IMCU, and Mandy Emery, VP of Community Involvement, IMCU, presented the check to Dori Sparks-Unsworth, Executive Director, Pink Ribbon Connection, and Beth Kiggins, Board President, Pink Ribbon Connection, at IMCU’s headquarters on Thursday, February 22, 2018.
“Pink Ribbon Connection could not be more excited about the result of the year-long Breast Cancer Awareness Card Campaign,” said Dori Sparks-Unsworth, Executive Director, Pink Ribbon Connection. “The $10,000 donation received from Indiana Members Credit Union will make a real difference in our ability to serve breast cancer patients in Indiana. To have IMCU as a partner in our work to provide free supplies and resources to anyone going through breast cancer is a true gift to us and we are so grateful for this partnership.”

The card is available for issue to members at IMCU’s 26 Central Indiana locations. The IMCU Cancer Awareness Debit Card is free to members with a free checking account and can be issued immediately via IMCU’s instant issue program, which allows members to receive their debit card on the spot.
