Catholic Vantage Financial Hosts Free Home Buyers Workshop
February 26, 2018
Plymouth, Mich. (February 26, 2018) If you’re a first time home buyer or ready to buy your next home, Catholic Vantage Financial (CVF) invites you to attend a free home buyers workshop on Wednesday, March 14, 2018.
Open to the public, the workshop will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the credit union’s Plymouth branch located at 8817 Sheldon Road, at the northwest corner of Sheldon and Joy Roads.
James Clemens, a highly experienced loan officer with the Mortgage Center, will talk about navigating the mortgage process, different home financing options, what costs are real and what fees you need to watch out for, along with differences between a home appraisal and inspection.
With the low inventory of houses on the market and homes selling quickly, Clemens will offer tips and strategies about how to be the top bidder without overpaying.
“This is also an excellent workshop for people interested in learning about the latest credit and financing requirements,” said Emma Teller, vice president of marketing and business development for Catholic Vantage Financial.
According to Teller, attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and receive helpful handouts.
A local realtor from Metropolitan Real Estate will also be on hand to discuss how to make an offer on a home, decoding “mortgage talk” and other issues.
To ensure adequate seating for the Home Buyers Workshop on March 14, advance reservations are requested by email to memberservice@mycvf.org.
