ORNL FCU Takes Donation to Heart
February 23, 2018
We are a member-owned, not-for-profit community credit union. That means profits are paid back to you with higher savings rates and lower loan rates.
ORNL Federal Credit Union employees raised over $1,000 for the American Heart Association during their annual #WearRedDay held on February 2. During National Wear Red Day, the credit union branches and departments helped spread awareness about cardiovascular disease, which is the #1 killer of women. According to the AHA, funds raised during these 24 hours support educational programs to increase women’s awareness about their risk for heart disease and stroke. Funds also go towards scientific research to increase knowledge about cardiovascular health.
ORNL FCU is proud to donate to an organization that continues to fight for our heart health and spread awareness about this debilitating disease.
