United Savings CU Shows Their Giving Hearts

Fargo, ND - United Savings Credit Union participated in Giving Hearts Day on February, 8 2018. No specific charities were selected; instead, employees were encouraged to choose charities whose mission resonated with them, and USCU would match their donation. Between employee donations and USCU matches, $2,500 was donated to many worthy charities.
According to the Giving Hearts Day Facebook page, preliminary results for Giving Hearts Day 2018 show $13,122,400 in donations from over 28,000 donors, approximately 6,900 more than 2017. Since it started in 2008, Giving Hearts Day has raised over $54 million for North Dakota and Minnesota charities.
Giving Hearts Day is the region’s largest day of charitable giving hosted by the Impact Foundation, which teaches non-profits how to secure charitable donations, government grants, and volunteers.
