Lowell, MA, January 30, 2018 – Align Credit Union recently celebrated the 50th anniversary of Ron Gagan’s tenure on Align’s Board of Directors. Mr. Gagan joined the board in 1967 when the Credit Union was known as Northern Massachusetts Telephone Workers Credit Union (NMTW). He became Chairman of the Board on July 25, 2000.

Over the years, Mr. Gagan has been instrumental in guiding decisions to better serve Align’s Members. Major initiatives have included the expansion of the charter to include communication companies and more cities and towns in Northeastern Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire, the addition of new products and services as well as the name change from NMTW to Align Credit Union.

“For 50 years, Chairman Gagan has been focused on Align, its Members and employees by always doing the right thing,” said Align President Ken Del Rossi. “His efforts have made our credit union and our communities better and stronger.”
