Georgia United Credit Union Shows Commitment to Education

DULUTH, GA (January 25, 2018) – Georgia United Credit Union announced an expanded partnership as the Official Credit Union of Georgia Athletics. This comprehensive five-year commitment enhances the existing sponsorship of the Georgia Athletics Department that began in 2015 and reinforces Georgia United’s commitment to the UGA Athletic Association (UGAAA). The athletic sponsorship was facilitated through Georgia Bulldog Sports Properties, and will strengthen Georgia United’s presence on campus and sporting events, including endorsements from Head Coach Kirby Smart.

Georgia United has been a longstanding supporter of UGA over the past 50 years. The credit union has built a reputation for outstanding service and community outreach through various programs for the university including FSLA Loan and VITA Tax Assistance programs.

The renewed partnership also includes in-venue signage and video features during home football, basketball, baseball and softball games, as well as gymnastics meets. Additional promotional opportunities include radio commercials, in-game features and gymnastics entitlement meets throughout each year.
