Jeanne D'Arc CU Holding "We Share a Common Thread" Fundraiser to Support Local Charities
January 25, 2018
We share a passion for our members and community: that’s our common thread.
LOWELL – Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union is excited to announce its eighth annual We Share A Common Thread Foundation Fundraiser, which will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2018.
Jeanne D’Arc’s We Share a Common Thread Foundation was established in 2011 to help the Credit Union provide monetary support to numerous charities and organizations throughout the community.
Each year, Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union employees, business partners, members and supporters gather together for a night filled with dancing, games, basket raffles, a silent auction, door prizes and much more. Funds raised during this fun-filled event are distributed to dozens of worthy non-profit organizations within the Merrimack Valley and surrounding communities.
Last year’s Fundraiser raised over $50,000, and the Credit Union disbursed those funds to 79 local organizations. This year, the Credit Union has set the goal to raise $60,000 to help them extend their support even further.
Community members and businesses can donate to the event in the following ways: provide a gift card to any retail store, restaurant, or merchant; submit a donation online at www.WSACT.com; or mail a check, made payable to We Share A Common Thread Foundation, to 1 Tremont Place, Lowell, MA 01854. All community members are invited to join Jeanne D’Arc, its employees, supporters, and many non-profit organizations at the event on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Lenzi’s, located at 810 Merrimack Avenue in Dracut, from 7:00pm to 11:00pm.
Tickets are $10.00 if purchased in advance or $15.00 at the door. Those interested in purchasing tickets should contact Alison Hughes at Alison.Hughes@JDCU.com or at 978-323-4712. For more information on the We Share A Common Thread Foundation and the annual fundraiser, visit www.WSACT.com.
