Credit Union Offering $5,000 in Scholarships

fairwindsORLANDO, Fla. - Each year, FAIRWINDS Credit Union offers scholarships to deserving high school seniors so they can be more financially prepared for college. This year is no different. Seniors have until April 26 to submit their application for one of two $2,500 scholarships. Each applicant must be a FAIRWINDS member and will be judged on a letter of recommendation, GPA, SAT and/or ACT scores, extracurricular activities and service, and a written essay. Kate Renner, VP of Marketing, said, "FAIRWINDS truly cares about the Central Florida community. These scholarships allow us to advance the lives of two students as they attend college and, in turn, help that community grow and prosper."
