West-Aircomm Raised $18,500 for Make-A-Wish Greater PA and WV

Beaver, PA – West-Aircomm Federal Credit Union is proud to announce it has raised $18,500 to benefit Make-A-Wish® Greater Western Pennsylvania and West-Virginia.
West-Aircomm named Make-A-Wish Greater PA and WV its Spotlight Charity for 2017 with the initial commitment of raising funds in the amount of $8,800 to grant wishes for 2 children. The amount was exceeded by nearly $10,000 and 4 wishes were granted, with money to spare. To raise the funds, staff volunteered their personal time to plan various fundraisers including staff jeans days, hosting various food trucks and candy bar sales. The staff also organized a spaghetti dinner, which contributed $8,000 to the fundraising efforts.
West-Aircomm staff members that were integral in the fundraising efforts along with CEO Lynn Stephenson, presented a check to Make-A-Wish Greater PA and WV on Friday, December 22nd. The presentation took place at Wish FM’s Annual Holiday Campaign hosted at the Mall at Robinson. (picture below)
West-Aircomm has raised nearly $30,000 for their Spotlight Charities over the past 2 years. They will be announcing the 2018 charity in early January.
