Jeanne d'Arc CU Sponsors Housewarming Party for New Mortgage Members
January 2, 2018
We share a passion for our members and community: that’s our common thread.
LOWELL, MA – Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union recently sponsored a housewarming party at the home of its new mortgage members, Derek Knapp and Michelle Lipfert. Approximately 70 friends, family members and co-workers gathered at the engaged couple’s new home in Deerfield, NH to help them break in their new pad.
“Derek and Michelle’s family and friends were very happy to share the experience of buying their first home,” said Jason Dubois, Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union’s Mortgage Loan Origination Manager. Dubois helped the couple through the home buying process and helped them secure their financing with the Credit Union.
“We were shocked when Jason told us that the Credit Union was going to sponsor our party. It was so incredibly generous and we are so thankful to have chosen such a great credit union to work with,” said Knapp.
Knapp and Lipfert both grew up in Atkinson, NH, but loved the small town feel of Deerfield and wanted to be closer to work. Knapp says homeownership has been a lot of work, but they are enjoying having their own space.
“A home purchase is such a huge milestone in the lives of our members, and we are always committed to helping them each and every step of the way,” said Mark S. Cochran, President and Chief Executive Officer of Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union. “Hosting these housewarming parties allows us to celebrate with them, and also thank them for letting us be a part of their home buying journey.”
The Knapp/Lipfert bash is the fourth housewarming party Jeanne D’Arc has sponsored for its new mortgage members.
