Vermillion FCU Staff Rings the Bell for Salvation Army

Vermillion FCU staff recently volunteered their time to take turns ringing the bell for the Salvation Army. The day chosen was “Bank Day”, and for each $20 or greater donation made there would be a matching contribution from four Vermillion banks and Vermillion FCU, up to $500 each. Over $5,000 in qualifying donations were received and so a match of $2,500 was made from Vermillion’s financial institutions. The money went to the Salvation Army’s emergency relief fund for Vermillion, which typically feeds hungry kids and turns the heat back on for struggling families.
