ORNL FCU Donates Over $100k to United Way

We are a member-owned, not-for-profit community credit union. That means profits are paid back to you with higher savings rates and lower loan rates.
ORNL Federal Credit Union held an internal campaign encouraging over 500+ employees to donate to the United Way of Anderson County in East Tennessee. Employees raised $51,836 and was matched by the credit union to present the final donation total of $100,836.99 to United Way.
The United Way works to advance the common good in the Anderson County community by assessing the needs of the community in their primary impact areas. They partner with the government, local businesses, schools, and area nonprofits to identify creative solutions to community issues. United Way goes beyond temporary fixes to help create lasting change and efficiency in the organizations they serve. Their agencies provide a range of services, from legal advice, income-tax assistance, and family mediation services to early education, adult care, and housing aid.
