December 21, 2017
We are Georgia United Credit Union. It is our proud honor to make an impact in the lives of our members, team members and the communities we serve. Every day and in every way. Together, we are stronger and YOUnited.
Duluth, GA (December 21, 2017) Georgia United Credit Union held its 27th annual Wish Tree Program to collect new toys and clothing for foster children through the local Division of Family & Children Services and similar organizations from November 15, 2017 through December 15, 2017. Individuals, schools, and civic groups were invited to participate by dropping off a new toy or article of clothing at one of Georgia United’s 19 branch locations by mid-December, so deliveries could be made prior to Christmas.
The Wish Tree Program is one of Georgia United’s longest-running community service projects and one of its most successful with a grand total of 23,081 gifts donated to multiple county DFCS offices and local charities during the program’s tenure.
Georgia United would like to thank everyone who helped us collect a record 1,978 items including high-tech tablets, bicycles and many more to donate to foster children in our local communities this year.
