St. Anne's Credit Union was proud to make a donation for the Korean War Veterans Monument dedicated recently at the Veterans Memorial Bicentennial Park in Fall River, Mass. Forty-seven men and women from Fall River who died in the Korean War were memorialized on this new monument, dedicated to Korean War veterans, which is located alongside the Gold Star Family and Iwo Jima Memorials. The dedication coincided with Veterans' Day. In the spring, individuals will be able to purchase a brick that will be laid in the Park to honor a Veteran, with their name on it.

Eileen M. Danahey, St. Anne's president/CEO, was "honored that the Credit Union could be a part of the dedication to those who served so selflessly for our freedom, right here in the City of Fall River. This is a small way for us to thank them for their service and to honor them." Danahey accepted a plaque from The Fall River War Veterans Council on behalf of St. Anne's, saying it "was going in her office, as a special reminder of those who gave the ultimate sacrifice and those who continue to serve."
