Vermont FCU Donates $1,500 to Support All Breed Rescue Tree Sale

Burlington, VT – Vermont Federal Credit Union Donated $1,500 to support the 4th Annual Christmas Tree Sale event to benefit All Breed Rescue. On December 2nd and 3rd, 2017 over $20,000 was raised for All Breed Rescue through the 4th Annual Christmas Tree Sale. This is an increase of 8,000 from last year’s event. 

Funds were raised by families purchasing their trees for a minimum donation of $35 per tree, as well as raffle tickets purchased for various prizes. During the event 13 dogs were adopted and 10 additional dogs were placed under deposit. This is the Credit Union’s third year sponsoring this event.

Vermont Federal is a $500 million-plus financial institution, with six locations currently serving over 36,000 members. Members are part of a cooperative, meaning they share ownership in the Credit Union and elect a volunteer board of directors.
