Redlands, CA, December 12, 2017: Alta Vista Credit Union announced today that it has donated a total of
$3,200 to The Big Hearts for Little Hearts Guild to give 320 patients a teddy bear at Loma Linda University
Children’s Hospital. Donations were made by Alta Vista Credit Union’s staff and membership during a campaign to raise funds in October. All proceeds from a raffle during the credit union’s annual auto show also went toward the donation.

“Community outreach and service is an important part of our credit union,” said RaAnn Wood, President
and Chief Executive Officer at Alta Vista Credit Union. “People helping people is the reason that Alta Vista
Credit Union exists.” The credit union delivered the $3,200 check to The Big Hearts for Little Hearts Guild on December 4th, and helped distribute the 320 bears to the children at Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital on December 11th.
