Sioux Falls, SD - Four kind gentlemen from Voyage Federal Credit Union that are normally clean shaven decided to take part in what has become a national movement to save your shaving savings and to #letitgrow. The movement is delightfully called “No Shave November” or “Movember,”and after the month is over the proceeds are then donated to organizations that work towards cancer prevention, research, and education.

After calculating the “normal” facial hair cutting efforts and costs of the four gentlemen at Voyage FCU, the funds came down to an average of only $12.50. It seems as though these guys know how to shave on a dime. Voyage FCU decided to match the funds, and the total donation came to $107.  The chosen cause of the freshly shorn gentlemen was Feisty Fighters, a local organization that helps cancer patients as well as families to cover costs associated with hospital stays. The gloriously bearded participants included left to right: Lance Junso, Jeff Schmidt, Mike Latham, and Brady Bothwell.
