Envision Credit Union Donates $10,000 to Support Backpack Program

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The global movement Giving Tuesday is alive and well including at Envision Credit Union.

America's Second Harvest of the Big Bend got a hefty check to support its backpack program.

Thanks to local banking group Envision Credit Union, a $10,000 check was presented to help aid in the growth of the program. Organizers say will go a long way.

The backpack program provides 21 schools in the area with backpacks full of enough food to feed children over the weekend.

According to Envision, more than 1,200 at risk children are fed each week.
