Alaska USA Foundation Donates $42,500 to Support Local Nonprofits

Anchorage, Alaska – Alaska USA Foundation contributed $42,500 to support a variety of non-profits that are vital fixtures in the communities they serve.

Recipients of the Alaska USA Foundation donation include Girl Scouts of Alaska, American Diabetes Association, Special Olympics of Alaska, Children’s Lunchbox, Together, and Boys & Girls Clubs of Alaska.

“These non-profits do an exemplary job of serving different groups in the community,” said Dan McCue, Executive Director, Alaska USA Foundation. “Thanks to the generosity of our members, we can provide the funds to help keep these important programs going strong.”

The Alaska USA Foundation was established in 2003 to support 501(c)(3) charitable organizations that provide needs-based services to children, veterans, and active duty members of the military and their families. Since its inception, the Foundation has distributed over $1.7 million to these organizations and is honored to assist those that provide direct services in support of its mission.
