Affinity FCU Foundation Raised $6,000 for Veterans

Basking Ridge, N.J. (November 22, 2017) – On November 15, the Affinity Federal Credit Union (AFCU) Foundation hosted its first local beer tasting fundraiser, Pints for a Purpose, raising more than $6,000 for Operation Chillout and Operation Sisterhood. The event took place at Revolution, A Social Brew House, located on 9 South Street in Morristown, New Jersey, and attracted around 100 attendees.

Operation Chillout is an all-volunteer outreach dedicated to ending the crisis of homelessness for veterans, men and women throughout New Jersey and parts of Pennsylvania. Operation Sisterhood, a program within the Cornerstone Family Programs' network, is committed to ensuring all women who have separated from the military have the resources they need to live happy, healthy and productive lives when they come home.
