November 17, 2017 (Greenbelt, MD) - Educational Systems Federal Credit Union dedicated its building located at 15901 Frederick Road in Rockville, Maryland in memory of Rosemary Brinkley on Saturday, October 28. The Brinkley Building honors Ms. Brinkley's service to the education community and the Credit Union.

As a member of the Credit Union for over 50 years, Rosemary knew that the Credit Union's not-for-profit financial services philosophy and focus on serving the education community made it the best choice for her and her colleagues. Rosemary served as a volunteer on the Credit Union's Board of Directors for 46 years (1970 to 2016). During her tenure, she served in various officer positions including many years as the Chair until her passing in 2016.

"Rosemary always led with her mantra of 'We can do better.' She was a true champion of education and credit unions," said Chris Conway, President/CEO of Educational Systems FCU. "Our Board of Directors wanted to preserve her legacy by naming our building The Brinkley Building."

During the dedication ceremony, a plaque was unveiled to commemorate Rosemary Brinkley's invaluable volunteer service and commitment to helping the members of the education community.

Educational Systems FCU (esfcu.org) has proudly served the education community for over 60 years.
