November 16, 2017
We are Georgia United Credit Union. It is our proud honor to make an impact in the lives of our members, team members and the communities we serve. Every day and in every way. Together, we are stronger and YOUnited.
Duluth, GA (November 15, 2017) - Georgia United Credit Union is holding its 27th Annual Wish Tree Program to collect new toys and articles of clothing for foster children in local communities. This holiday season, Georgia United invites you to stop by a local branch and pick up a wish for a child in need. Donated items should be dropped off by December 15 in order for deliveries to be made to local Department of Family and Children Services (DFCS) offices and other charitable organizations in time for the holidays.
The Wish Tree Program is Georgia United’s longest running community service project with over 20,000 gifts donated to foster children in local communities. “Wish Tree has been part of our outreach for nearly 30 years,” Debbie Smith, Georgia United President & CEO, commented, “It helps foster children have a brighter holiday season by granting their wish during the holidays. Please help Georgia United by getting involved and help us grant holiday wishes for these local children."
For more information on how you can get involved, contact Georgia United’s Business and Community Development Department at 770.476.6409.
