AllyFed Credit Union Donates $1,000 to Beau Biden Foundation

AllyFed Credit Union stands up with the Beau Biden Foundation for the protection of children and our community against the threats of predators, illicit internet sites, cyber and digital bullying. On Oct. 23, the credit union donated $1,000 to the Beau Biden Foundation while visiting the foundation headquarters, located on the campus of the Delaware Law School.The donation was made possible through the generosity of AllyFed members, employees, and board members that participated in the "Stand-Up Sweepstakes." The sweepstakes, planned to be an annual event, had multiple winners of EAGLES swag, memorabilia and a pair of game tickets - all contributed by our board, the Eagles Organization and Swoop, the official Eagles mascot!

The Beau Biden Foundation for the Protection of Children was created to honor the life of Joseph R. "Beau" Biden, III, and to continue his life's work: ensuring that all children are free from the threat of abuse. It is possible for parents and other adults to miss the warning signs of abuse. The best defense is educating both adults and children on the threats that pervade our society. The Foundation is committed to protecting the most vulnerable among us, especially children who have fallen victim to abuse and neglect.
