Community Resource FCU is Supporting Veterans and Active Military in the Community
October 31, 2017
October 27, 2017 (Latham, NY): Community Resource Federal Credit Union (CRFCU) will be honoring all Military personnel in the Capital Region and their own Veteran members by going RED. CRFCU will deploy their RED (Remember Everyone Deployed) campaign. RED Fridays is a national campaign that they are joining to promote their support for Veterans and Active Military.
RED is an acronym that stands for Remember Everyone Deployed. RED Friday was created to remind people of our heroes overseas and show that we are thinking of them. CFRCU will wear special red shirts each Friday during November to spread the message of how important it is that we keep our troops in our thoughts.
Employees and members will be raising funds for Veteran charities in the Capital Region. CRFCU is also a sponsor of the VETCON, Veterans in Economic Transition Conference and is also a supporter of the Siena College 2017 Veterans Recognition Dinner.
“Community Resource is honored to support our Veterans and Active Military in the community.” Marc DeNofio, VP of Marketing stated. “These events and donations are just a small way on this Veteran's Day to honor those ordinary people who have done something extraordinary so that we may all enjoy the freedom we treasure today.”
Community Resource will be donating funds raised to:
STRIDE Adaptive Sports Albany County during the week of Oct. 30 – November 4;
Mountains to Miracles: Woofs for Warriors Saratoga County during the week of November 6 – November 11;
Veterans Nomad Motorcycle Club: Chapter 8 Schenectady County during the week of November 13 –November 18;
