Portsmouth, NH – Service Credit Union (SCU) now offers coin counting machines in its Portsmouth, Salem and Keene traditional branch locations.

Members can use the machine free of charge. A nominal fee will be charged to business members and nonmembers. Vouchers will need to be redeemed at the teller station for cash.

Electronic gift cards and charitable donations can be done at the machine, both with no fee. Charities include American Red Cross, Children’s Miracle Network, Feeding America, UNICEF, The Humane Society of the US, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and World Wildlife Fund.

"We are a member-focused organization committed to providing convenient and free services such as the Coinstar machines to our members,” said President/CEO David Van Rossum. “Service Credit Union is always looking for ways to improve the member experience in branch, online or by phone.”

Service Credit Union will evaluate adding more coin counting machines to other traditional branch locations.
