East River FCU Helps Dreams Come True

Madison, SD - In September, East River FCU staff participated in the Dakota State University Parade where “dreams” was the theme, and the crew was thrilled to find out that the same theme would be carried over into International Credit Union Day. During the month of October, staff promoted the credit union movement in many ways. They worked concessions for a local football game, taught a credit class to middle school students, provided information and resources about identity theft through a “Financial Soul Food” event and much more! During International Credit Union Week, East River FCU participated in the CU Lunch Local day and provided treats in the lobby to show appreciation to its members. Several other community related events are in the works for the remainder of the year.
