Catholic Federal Credit Union Supports 20 Local Businesses on CU Lunch Local
October 17, 2017
SAGINAW - Catholic Federal Credit Union staff had some fun and hit the road in CFCU gear on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 and participated in the 6th CU Lunch Local event to support local businesses. 20 local businesses were visited throughout Bay, Saginaw and Tuscola counties in Michigan.
To get staff involved in this event, Catholic Federal sent an invitation out to the credit union asking who wanted to participate and asked them to fill out an application noting what local business they would like to visit. The credit union then donates the funds to the employees. Credit union staff bought coffee, donuts, lunch and other treats totaling $700 and also educated the business on the “lunch cash mob.”
“This is a great opportunity for Catholic Federal staff to get out of the office and support local businesses and treat others to coffee, breakfast or lunch,” stated Bethany Dutcher, vice president of marketing. “I am delighted to work for a company that enthusiastically supports participation!”
Catholic Federal Credit Union is a full service financial institution, proud to serve more than 25,000 members, offering loans, savings accounts and checking accounts. The credit union has locations in Bay City, Essexville, Saginaw and Vassar in Michigan.
