Fresno, CA – October 9, 2017 – Educational Employees Credit Union (EECU) based in Fresno, CA, recently honored outstanding Merced County educators.

Beth Dooley, EECU president and CEO, presented awards to the winners selected as the teacher and employee of the year. She praised the winners and all of the nominees for their dedication to their students.

“Those who work in education play an important and positive role in inspiring students to be actively engaged in their learning,” Dooley said. “Their commitment to their students, their schools and their communities is remarkable.”

The Merced County program is one of five annual county events sponsored by EECU that honors outstanding educators and school staff. EECU has 18 branches and serves more than 270,000 members in 10 Central California counties.
