TEMPE, AZ October 4, 2017 — Landings Credit Union, Reebok at Phoenix Premium Outlets, San Tan Ford and Precision Fleet Services joined forces to help children at Frank Elementary School, by donating 238 pairs of new shoes and more than 200 pairs of socks.

Kathleen Esquibel, a Landings Credit Union employee, was visiting Frank Elementary when she witnessed a child wearing his dad’s shoes because he had none. After sharing this story with others at Landings, a group of employees worked to help as many students as possible. Reebok stepped up and donated $2000 plus offered deep discounts. San Tan Ford and Precision Fleet Services also donated, bringing the total to $5000.

“I know that if a kid looks good, and they feel good, they are more likely to succeed in school,” said Ahmee Johnson, store manager at Reebok. Ahmee is a former parole officer in the City of Guadalupe, and knows all too well the needs of the kids in the area. He didn’t think twice when he was approached  by the Landings team.

Reebok’s slogan “We are better together” depicts the spirit of this joint effort.
