Naveo Credit Union Collected $1,300 for American Red Cross Hurricane Relief Fund

(Somerville, MA) Naveo Credit Union collected $1,300 for the American Red Cross Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund in just over a week. Funds were collected from employees and members the week after the Hurricane hit Texas. To jumpstart the collection, Naveo employees went casual for a day in exchange for a $10 donation and then encouraged members at the branches to donate as well.

With the amount of coverage and exposure on the Hurricane, many people were aware that aid was needed in Houston, but weren’t sure how they could help. Naveo provided a safe and secure place to donate. In addition, Naveo then matched the dollars collected for a total donation of $1,300.
