Bethpage FCU Manager Recognized for Outstanding Commitment to Community

Bethpage, NY – Bethpage Federal Credit Union is pleased to announce that Farmingdale Branch Manager, Heather Anderson, has been named the 2017 Outstanding Businessperson of the Year by the Farmingdale Chamber of Commerce, as part of the Nassau Council of Chambers of Commerce.
Each year, Chamber members select an honoree to receive this prestigious award – someone who has made a significant contribution to the local economy, and a meaningful and important contribution to the general welfare of the local community.
A Farmingdale resident, Heather currently serves as Vice President of the Farmingdale Chamber of Commerce, and also chairs the Farmingdale Chamber’s Ribbon Cutting Committee. As an active and dedicated member, she also volunteers for many special events.
Since she joined Bethpage Federal Credit Union in 2002, Heather has received several promotions, and today, is the manager of the Bethpage Farmingdale branch. “Throughout her career at Bethpage, Heather has embraced Bethpage’s commitment to enrich the lives of Long Islanders by supporting program sponsorships, community events, and financial education seminars,” said President and CEO, Wayne N.
