Credit Union Foundation of the Dakotas Raises $8,800 for Children's Charities and Scholarships

Bismarck, ND - The Credit Union Foundation of the Dakotas (CUFD) recently held their First Annual Golf Fundraiser in Jamestown, ND. Participants and sponsors raised $8,800 to be used for local charities, scholarships, financial literacy programs and community grants.

“We’re so thankful for the support our credit unions and business sponsors gave us in this First Annual Tournament,” says Mike Reisnour, CEO of Dakota Plains FCU and Chair of the CUFD. “We had a great day for the outing and are excited to use the money we raised to give back to our communities. We look forward to many more successful golf tournaments, to come.”

CUFD is the charitable arm of the Credit Union Association of the Dakotas. The overall purpose and objective of the CUFD is to build community awareness of Dakota credit unions through support of children’s charities; community and social impact organizations and projects; financial education and financial literacy programs through the credit union chapter system; and to provide higher education scholarships throughout our service region in the Dakotas.
