CEFCU Employees Raise More Than $10,000 for Hurricane Victims Relief

Peoria, IL - CEFCU recently held two casual days; one for Hurricane Harvey relief August 31st and another for Hurricane Irma relief on September 13th. CEFCU matched contributions for both casual days, at a maximum of $2,000 each. Employees hit that maximum and contributed $2,000 to each casual day. The totals raised, including the CEFCU match, were are as follows: Hurricane Harvey: $5,586 Hurricane Irma: $4,420

A grand total of $10,006 was donated to the Midwest Food Bank to assist with relief efforts and getting needed supplies to the affected areas. CEFCU also held a food drive, and collected six boxes of non-perishable foods including peanut butter, canned soup, canned chicken, and tuna.
