DuPage CU Raises More Than $14,000 to Purchase School Supplies for Students in Need

DuPage Credit Union’s We’ve Got Your Back Campaign Raises Over $14,000 to Purchase School Supplies for Local Students in Need

NAPERVILLE – September 7, 2017–DuPage Credit Union would like to thank the community and our business sponsors for helping us raise over $14,000 to purchase school supply kits to fill over 1,250 backpacks for DuPage County students in need.

The backpacks were given out during the Catholic Charities, Diocese of Joliet's Annual Back-to-School Fair on August 2nd at St. Francis High School in Wheaton. The event benefited students served by the DuPage Regional Office of Education.

Since its inception, in 2014, DuPage Credit Union's We've Got Your Back Backpack Fundraiser has raised over $50,000 and helped thousands of students in DuPage County begin the school year with the tools needed to succeed in the classroom.
