Basking Ridge, N.J. (August 31, 2017) – As Hurricane Harvey continues to devastate Texas and Louisiana, Affinity Federal Credit Union is committed to helping those affected. The Affinity Federal Credit Union Foundation has implemented fundraising activities to donate to relief efforts.

The Foundation has made a contribution to CU Aid, the disaster relief fund established by the National Credit Union Foundation. In addition, Affinity will host an Employee Jeans Day on September 8th, where staff members are encouraged to make a $5 donation to dress in jeans for the day, and the Foundation will match every donation made.

“Our company culture has always revolved around compassion and a desire to help others,” says John T. Fenton, president and CEO of Affinity Federal Credit Union, “It’s overwhelming to see the destruction Harvey has caused, and we want nothing more than to help those in need.”

Affinity will continue to update its members on its Harvey Relief efforts. If you have questions or would like to help, please contact our member services team at 800.325.0808.
