Kinecta FCU Helps Provide 500 Backpacks and School Supplies for Local Kids

Kinecta Federal Credit Union and Nix Neighborhood Lending hosted the 8th Annual Backpack Distribution Day, which took place in Los Angeles on Saturday, Aug. 5th. LAFD and LAPD members helped pass out the backpacks to the children of Watts along with Sweet Alice Harris and several other community members. Kinecta employees filled more than 500 backpacks with back-to-school items for deserving Watts elementary school students and helped distribute them to the children of the community together.
