St. Anne's Credit Union Donates $2,500 to Local YMCA

St. Anne's Credit Union in Fall River, Mass., marked the opening of its recently relocated branch in Dartmouth, Mass., with a $2,500 donation to the YMCA SouthCoast in Dartmouth.

The credit union raised the money through a Facebook campaign in which it donated $1 for every "like" and "share" the news post received.

"St. Anne's is proud to collaborate with this local Y and help them fulfill their mission of youth development and social responsibility in the SouthCoast community," said Eileen M. Danahey, St. Anne's president/CEO. The credit union also supports several other Y endeavors, including capital campaigns for the Stoico/FIRSTFED YMCA in Swansea and the Fall River YMCA, to serve the interests of the local community.

Said Danahey, "We are pleased the $2,500 will assist the Dartmouth Y's Sharing the Harvest Community Farm in donating fresh produce to those in need, aligning with our mission of making a difference in the community in which our members and employees are a part."
