Lowell, MA, August 21, 2017 – Align Credit Union hosted its annual school supply drive this year during the months of July and August. The goal was to help students in need with a successful start at school by providing basic supplies. Members and non-Members stopped by Align’s locations at 19 Haverhill Road in Amesbury and 87 Hale Street in Lowell with donations of backpacks, binders, notepads, pens, pencils and more.

At the end of the drive, donations were delivered to The Pettengill House, Inc. in Salisbury, MA and Catie’s Closet in Lowell. These charitable organizations will then distribute the items to local students who need assistance.

“Some families struggle to find the money to buy basic supplies,” said Align President Ken Del Rossi. “Drives like these are a simple way to help children start their school year off right.”
