Daleville, Ala. (August 14, 2017) — Army Aviation Center Federal Credit Union (AACFCU) partnered with two local Boys and Girls Clubs for its first annual Under the Big Top with AACFCU, a two day financial summer camp designed to teach youth the benefits of understanding money and financial planning.

Third through fifth grade students at Boys and Girls Clubs in Ozark and Troy created their own goal wheel, learned about budgets through a Mad City Money simulation and even came up with their own business that included creating their very own game.

“We’re excited about this new summer camp that provides a hands-on learning experience for students,” said Lisa Hales, AACFCU vice president of marketing. “This program is a great way to make learning about money fun, and we hope to bring this program to more communities to help boost financial literacy for students.”
