Zeal Credit Union's Incredible Science Team Sets New Records
August 16, 2017
Livonia, Mich. (August 15, 2017) – “In July, 250,000 dominoes and hundreds of unique items toppled to set a new U.S. record here in Michigan, and now you can watch it online,” said Tiffany Sweet, youth and community development coordinator for Zeal Credit Union. The video is available at www.IncredibleScienceMachine.com.
The toppling was videotaped during Zeal Credit Union’s Incredible Science Machine: Game On! event held at Trillium Academy in Taylor, Michigan.
It was the third consecutive year that Zeal Credit Union sponsored the Incredible Science Machine domino and chain reaction event. According to Sweet, videos from the two previous years have drawn a combined total of more than 13 million viewers on YouTube. She expects this video may exceed that number.
“When you watch the video, you’ll understand why it took a team of 19 chain reaction builders and domino artists a full week to set up, and less than 15 minutes to topple down,” said Sweet. “Their ingenuity, hard work and passion, values held by Zeal Credit Union, can’t help but impress you.”
The team set three new U.S. records with the most dominoes toppled at 245,732, the largest domino field of 12,450, and the largest domino structure of 12,780.
