Credit union supports charity with "Jeans Day" fundraisers

Employees at Dow Chemical Employees Credit Union of Midland, MI�raised more than $850 for charitable organizations through their most recent "Jeans Day" fundraisers. For each of the one-day fundraisers, which occur throughout the year, participating DCECU employees donate a minimum of $5, which entitles them to wear blue jeans, tennis shoes and logoed attire to work that day.
- In February, staff members raised $405 for Leader Dogs for the Blind, which provides a free guide dog, GPS training, and orientation and mobility programs to the blind and visually impaired to enhance mobility, independence and quality of life.
- In March, staff members raised $458 for the Good Samaritan Rescue Mission of Bay City a division of the City Rescue Mission of Saginaw which provides emergency assistance, including clothing, shelter, referrals to local agencies, counseling and life skills classes.
