Pelican State CU Gives Away More Than 300 Free Car Washes

ALEXANDRIA, LOUISIANA – Pelican State Credit Union gave away 309 free washes at locally-owned and operated Speedy Pete’s Car Wash in Alexandria, Louisiana, on July 25, 2017.

From 2 – 5 pm, everyone who attended the event also received an air freshener and the opportunity to enter to win $100 and free car washes for a year! Credit union membership was not required and no purchase was necessary to receive the free car wash.

Speedy Pete’s is locally owned and operated by Pete and Amy Willis and is located at 3923 S. MacArthur Drive near the McDonald’s on Lee Street in Alexandria. They offer free vacuuming with all washes!

Pelican has two branches in Rapides Parish: 4520 Lee Street in Alexandria and 3628 Monroe Highway in Pineville. Credit union members can benefit from free one-on-one credit counseling and a variety of products and services, such as an interest-bearing free checking account along with several opportunities to participate in giveaways throughout the year.
