Credit Union ONE Walks in Support of Organ and Tissue Donation

Ferndale, Michigan – Credit Union ONE (CUONE) again sponsored the 20th Annual Gift of Life Walk/Run benefiting the Minority Organ Tissue Transplant Education Program (MOTTEP), on Saturday July 29th 2017 at Belle Isle State Park.

For the fifth year in a row over 30 Employees and Family members participated in the event, and joined MOTTEP in raising funds and awareness in the gift of life through organ and tissue donation.  “ We were pleased to be a corporate sponsor and to have a full team participate in such a great fund raising event “ said John Kozich Vice President of Community Relations. “ We are proud to support this cause, and the individuals and families that have been affected by an organ or tissue donation”.

The event included a 5k and a 10k race, as well as a 5k walk. The MOTTEP Gift of Life Walk/Run is Michigan’s largest event promoting organ and tissus donation. This year’s event had over 2,300 participants, and raised well over $70,000 dollars.
