Holy Rosary Credit Union Awarded Eight College Scholarships

Holy Rosary Credit Union (HRCU) of Rochester, New Hampshire awarded eight college scholarships last month to graduates of six local high schools.

"Students and families often need all the help they can get when it comes to paying for a college education and for more than 20 years, we have been pleased to be able to offer the assistance of the scholarships," said HRCU President/CEO Brian Hughes. "This is a great group of students who are all well-deserving."

HRCU has awarded 209 scholarships totaling close to $200,000 since establishing the scholarship program in 1996.

The 2017 recipients, their former schools and colleges they will attend are: Audrey Cannon, Dover High School, UNH; Nathan Learnard, Spaulding High School (SHS), Great Bay Community College then the Wentworth Institute of Technology; Zachariah Martin, Portsmouth Christian Academy, Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University; Natalie Noble, SHS, University of New Haven; Cara Parker, St. Thomas Aquinas High School, Bryant University; Zackary Pine, Coe-Brown Northwood Academy, UNH; Jessica Viel, Nute High School (NHS), Plymouth State University; and Raymond Zabkar, NHS, UNH.
