Credit Union ONE Meets with State Representative

Ferndale, Michigan – Two Credit Union ONE Employees met with State Representative Henry Yanez at the Credit Union’s Branch in Sterling Heights Michigan on June 28th. Representative Yanez makes himself available for issues that are important to all Credit Union’s and their members, and has met in the past at Credit Union ONE.

Topics discussed in the two hour meeting included the always important Data Breaches, ID Theft, Payday Lending and CVR / E-titling. Data Breach topics included the number of breaches and the cost of replacing debit cards, access to Secretary of State databases to help deter ID theft, and the ability to E-title and file liens for quicker and safer security for the member and the financial instituition. “ We have continued regular dialogue with State Representative Yanez over the last few years” said Stephen Dedene Vice President Compliance and Risk. “ Representative Yanez is always ready to discuss the topics important to our members and the Credit Union, and we are always pleased to meet with him”.
