Greater Nevada Credit Union Recognized at University’s Honor Court
(Carson City, Nev.) June 30, 2017—Greater Nevada Credit Union (GNCU) was recently inducted into the Honor Court at the University of Nevada, Reno. Situated on campus in a park-like setting the Honor Court features the names of major donors, award-winning faculty, students, employees and community members who have contributed to the university's history and success.
During a ceremony in June, GNCU was recognized as a Silver Benefactor and the credit union’s name was permanently engraved on a pillar of white granite at the Rose Garden Pergola of the Honor Court. GNCU’s contributions include fundraising for the University of Nevada, Reno Wolf Pack Marching Band and most recently the school’s Money Mentors program, which provides financial education on campus.
Soon GNCU will expand its presence and support at the University even further when it opens its new branch across from campus later this year. An ATM is also being installed in the student union building. For more information about how GNCU supports the University of Nevada, Reno visit gncu.org and click on Community Involvement.
