First Commerce Credit Union showed its local support for the Florida Colleges Activities Association Mens and Womens State Basketball Tournament held at the Milton H. Johnson Health Center at Chipola College on March 6 9.
As the title sponsor of the Womens Tournament, Jackson County Executive for First Commerce Credit Union, Chuck Hudson welcomed the players and started the first game of the tournament with tip-off. During the womens championship game on Saturday, spectators registered at the First Commerce Credit Union table to participate in a half time shoot out for a chance to win $100. First Commerce Credit Unions Kids Club mascot, Sammy Squirrel was at center court to challenge two spectators to a half court shot.
