Northland Area FCU Awarded $5,000 in Scholarships

Northland Area Federal Credit Union recently awarded a total of $5,000 in educational scholarships to five area students.
2017 recipients of $1,000 awards are Dalton Keys from Tawas Area High School, Rhiannon Hall of Fairview High School, Drake Willobee from Fairview High School, Nichole Balser of Ogemaw Heights High School and Rachel Hiveley from AuGres-Sims High School.
Scholarships were awarded to students during their respective school award ceremonies.
The Jerry Erickson Educational Scholarship Fund was established in 2015 to reward students for leadership in community service and academic excellence. It is named in honor of Jerry Erickson, Emeritus Board Member, who has been a credit union advocate and volunteer for Northland for many years.
