EAST LANSING, Mich. – MSU Federal Credit Union (MSUFCU) is pleased to announce that it has been recognized by the Credit Union National Association (CUNA) for the CUNA HR & Organizational Development Award for employee engagement. The MSUFCU Human Resources Department was honored with the award at the 23rd annual CUNA HR & Organizational Development Council Conference held April 19–22.

The CUNA HR & Organizational Development award recognizes and honors credit unions that exemplify excellence in human resources and company development. It also recognizes those who promote credit union philosophies through leadership. MSUFCU received this award for continuously excelling in professional ethics and contributing to the credit union movement. There were three aspects of human resources considered in this award including employee engagement, management practices, and innovative staff development.

“It was an honor to receive this award for our efforts regarding employee engagement,” said Silvia Dimma, MSUFCU’s Chief Human Resources Officer. “MSUFCU prides itself on creating a positive work environment and providing opportunities for all employees to grow, develop, and become successful leaders.”

MSU Federal Credit Union offers a full range of personal — and business-related — financial services to Michigan State University and Oakland University faculty, staff, students, alumni, and their families worldwide, in addition to a variety of select employee groups.
